From The Warminster Parish Magazine, September 1869:
Mission-House. The Students returned on Saturday, August 14th.
Four students have left, three of whom offer themselves for admission at S. Augustine’s – John Sweet, De Berdt Hovell, and Thomas Blundun.
At present five have been admitted as Probationers, and in consequence of the present and expected increase in our numbers, it has been found necessary to take temporarily the house adjoining the Mission House.
Would any kind friend give thirty copies of “Helmore’s Psalms” for daily use? – the cost about £2.
£11 has been given, being the offertory at the annual commemoration of the Salisbury and Wiltshire branch of the E.C.U., held this year at Laverstock, near Salisbury.
The last accounts received from Mr. Harry Haden stated that he was expecting to be ordained by the Bishop of Calcutta on the 29th of September, the F. of S. Michael and All Angels. We would ask the prayers of the church in Warminster for him.
