From The Warminster Parish Magazine, March 1869:
Mission-House. The names of the students admitted as probationers at the beginning of the Lent Term, are –
Martin Ellingham, of Chedburgh, Bury S. Edmunds;
H. Palmer, London;
G. E. Buckle, Ashperton, Worcestershire.
Seventeen students are now in residence, of whom four or five will probably pass on to S. Augustine’s at Midsummer.
Thomas Goode, late student of the College, and afterwards at S. Augustine’s, was ordained by the Bishop of Chester, in the Cathedral at Chester, on Sunday, the 21st, and was selected from amongst the candidates to read the Gospel in the Ordination Service, a proof that he did very well in the examination. He is to join Bishop Tozer’s mission at Zanzibar.
Mr. Haden is still at Delhi, the mission to the Gonds not having been yet organised.
